I have been a Swedish-English translator since 1975 and handled everything from technical documents to sports stories, vehicle and boat cataloges to copy writing and much more besides. I have translated a couple of books, one of which remains in circulation, ("Moments of Truth") for the then head of Scandinavian airlines. In other words, I can handle a project of this size. To do this properly I would need a month to complete. I write fluently and have been a magazine and newspaper writer in Canada. But a 500 page book requires a good deal of communication with you, the client, and then careful editing to ensure the highest quality. Recently, I translated, among many other things, a newspaper review of a Royal Swedish Ballet Company performance and, on the same day, a presentation of a company specializing in vehicle tracking.
