For this project, I'm looking to portray the life of a fifty-year-old, heavy set black woman in a gray, soiled sweatsuit, smoking in a wheelchair with oxygen bottles near her in an outside gas station setting. She is wearing a nasal cannula (delivers oxygen thru nostrils) and is surrounded by empty alcohol containers. The purpose of this project is to create social commentary, and the mood I'd like to convey is negative . More specifically, I'd like to focus on the character's life and what this image tells us about her.
