Adding a new domain controller to a network and decommission the old DC controller. Server 2016 to server 2022. Would like to have step-by-step instructions. There's no DHCP that is handled by the router. only DNS . I promoted the new DC and transferred all the roles. I forgot to uncheck the global catalog and then I decommission the old DC.
