Hi, I actually use a rsync command line to backup a folder to an external server. But since a new update of the application i backup, the folder now changed name. Before there was 2 folder : monthly and daily, so it was easy to me to rsync only the file inside the daily folder, but now the folder is named by the date of the day that the script has been execute, now : 14-04-2017 for exemple (it use the date of the server) , so every month i have a folder name 01-**-2017 for exemple and a folder **(DD)-04(current month)-2017(current year) because of the size i don't wan't both folder and i wan't that the script edit automaticly for the new date 4 times a month.
