To be independent of the updates from Google, I want to transfer 2 apps I had developed 3 years ago to open source based Linux operating systems, so that they can run on Rasperry computers. It's about the display/looping of short videos and photographs. The first app is a bit more complex and resembles the site of cinegrafix.eu. The second app is simpler and is about playing 1400 photos slowly one after the other. The first app was planned to be commercial but did not work. Now I want to do my projects in private. Hi, i want to build a wifi temp/humi sensor with a rasp pi 3 + ESP32 +BME280 but i have no time to finish it on my own. The rasp pi will be used as the database + website. The website should be able to reach over internal network. The ESP32+BME280 use a battery as powersupply. Pi and ESP32 has to be connected over wifi. The ESP32 send the values every 30 mins, after that it went into deep sleep for 30 mins. The values has to be visible as values and graphs. Node-Red, InfluxDB + Grafana is the best way i guess. I need someone who will create the code and create a step by step guide for me. It`s an easy project i guess but it takes to much time for me.

HI, I have a TV where a rasperry PI 3B is connected. I need a boot configuration file with the following requirements: set TV to portrait (display_rotate=1), opens VLC Player in Full Mode and starts a specific mp4 file in endless mode. I know how to rotate the screen, but stuck at the VLC Player as it plays only half the screen (see attached images). The File I want to play is around 4GB. the RAM of the Rasperry is 2GB (if this is an issue?) The Rasperry stops to play the file from time to time...
