I won't give specifics to the database structure as that part is irrelevant. sqlcmd -s, -W -Q "set nocount on; #sqlStatementHere#'" | findstr /v /c:"-" /b > '+@OutputFilePath; My problem is that some varchar fields contain special characters such as quotes and double quotes and commas. This is causing some rows of the CSV file to be invalid. I am assuming we can pass in some parameter to this SQLCMD to escape special characters or perhaps wrap the entire varchar data in double quotes.
