After replacing disk /dev/sda and restoring the raid, the server doesn't want to boot. I have access to the server via remote netboot rescue mode. The setup was as follows: /dev/sda 80G sata drive with my os on sda1 swap on sd2 and another os (the same version 12.04) on sda3. I reboot on sda3 to make an image of sda1 so I always have a clean copy of my sda1 partition if it would fail. For the data I have 4 2TB drives in RAID6 no partitions, just the bare devices most likely created a few years ago with something like mdadm --create /dev/md0 --level=6 --raid-devices=4 /dev/sd[bcde] So all is good, I decide to do the do-release -upgrade to jump to 14.04.6 LTS All works fine, system boots up and all is good, then I power down the system, remove on of the 4 drives, cau...
